About Us
Country Downs Landscaping is now entering its sixth decade of operation. Founded in the 1960's as primarily a lawn and garden service company, it has evolved into a complete full-service landscape contractor that has the ability to service everyone - from the individual home owner's residence right up to the largest corporations.
Over the years we have prided ourselves on our tradition of quality and service. At Country Downs we believe in putting in the extra time and effort in getting the job done right - the first time. This tradition of work ethic has paid dividends. It has allowed us to grow, but grow while continuing to serve our oldest customers just as personally and effectively as always. The evidence of this is their enduring loyalty to us as a company. We have clients that have been with us since our inception.
Country Downs is an industry leader, a pioneer of sorts in the landscape industry. We are a privately-owned and operated family firm, servicing the Greater Toronto Area.
Country Downs wants to service you, whether your needs are Groundskeeping; Landscape Design; Landscape Construction; or any of our Winter Services that we offer.

Our employees are all well qualified professionals who are also well groomed and uniformed while at any of our worksites. Country Downs Landscaping provides its employees with modern equipment, this provides safety and efficiency in getting the job done right.
Country Downs Landscaping has very high standards of workmanship as noted throughout, but we also put a great deal of care in selecting our employees. We want people who take a professional approach to their work and to have the required knowledge to exceed our clients' expectations. Our crews are highly educated and rigorously trained in all procedures. We put into practice and uphold only the most stringent of safety standards.

Over the years Country Downs has won numerous awards for its quality service, but none seem as special as this award we received in the late 90's. Where the City of Scarborough awarded Country Downs Landscaping with a Citation for the Beautification of Scarborough. We are the only landscaper to 'ever' receive this award from the city.
